CHOCTAW CO., OK -- According to the Pushmataha Co. Sheriff, the second Pushmataha County Jail escapee has been captured in Choctaw County Friday afternoon.
Clayton scraper was taken into custody in Choctaw County, according to Pushmataha County Sheriff Terry Duncan.
The other escaped inmate, Michael Avery, was captured late Monday night just northwest of Hugo.
Sheriff Duncan says the two men overpowered a jailer Sunday night and then jumped a razor wire fence.
Scraper was convicted in 2004 for first degree rape, served prison time and was on probation.
He was currently in jail for obstructing an officer.
Avery was in jail for causing an accident while eluding police.
Both men have been captured and are in custody.
