DURANT, OK -- A benefit for a local flight nurse critically injured in a helicopter crash is being held Saturday in Durant.
"Tosha's Ride" is a poker run and benefit raffle to help Tosha Whitmire.
Whitmire was seriously injured back in June, when an EagleMed helicopter crashed while taking off from Choctaw Indian Nation Hospital in Talahina.
Whitmire suffered major head trauma and was in a coma.
Registration for the benefit begins at 10 AM at Sports City in Durant.
The ride begins at 11 am.
A raffle benefit will be held at 5 PM.
Poker buy-in will be $20 per hand.
