ARDMORE, OK - Community members came together to support a man who was stabbed multiple times last week in Ardmore.

Police say 41-year-old Yoshi Hirasawa was stabbed 7 times outside Rockford C Mart last Friday. He's an employee.

And Saturday several people were invited to the store to donate money and eat free hotdogs while brain storming other ways to help Hirasawa.

This upcoming Friday Budro's Rib Joint is holding a benefit for him.

A karaoke night will be held for him starting at 9 p.m.

Hirasawa said he's thankful for all the support people have shown him.

"I'm really really grateful," said Hirasawa. "Thank you everyone."

He says he's feeling better, but that he's not back to work yet.
