PARIS, TX-- The "Big Kahuna" was on display at North Lamar High School Friday raising money for journalism scholarships.
The monster truck came to the school as part of the Journalism Department's project called "Power Wheel Photos."
For a small fee, students were able to take photos with the Big Kahuna and other custom vehicles. Senior Jerica Newman says its great experience for the journalism students.
"They get to photograph other students," said Newman. "They are also working on abstract art right now, so they get to take different pictures from all the different places."
All the money raised will go toward journalism scholarships at North Lamar High School.
