OKLAHOMA - An Oklahoma state representative filed a bill Thursday to allow licensed gun owners to board a bus with their firearm.

According to Oklahoma law, right now that is a felony.

Rep. Paul Wesselhoft authored house bill 15-58. Wesselhoft says data shows it's rarely law-abiding gun owners who commit crimes like recent mass shootings.

The bill will be reviewed when the legislative session begins on Monday.
