(BONHAM, TEXAS) -- A Bonham man charged with sexually abusing young children while he owned a daycare in town has been arrested again on additional charges.

54-year-old John Karl Duncan owned Angel safe Childcare in Bonham until The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services shut it down when he was arrested in May for allegedly sexually assaulting two young children. Tuesday night, Duncan was arrested again after an additional victim and evidence were discovered.

Fannin County District Attorney Richard Glaser explains " we reviewed the evidence and developed that there were actually five offenses.. So we indicted him on all five offenses..two of which he had already posted bond on so he was arrested on the other three outstanding charges."

Duncan now faces two additional felony charges of aggravated sexual assault on a child and one felony charge of indecency with a child by sexual contact. George McClellan has lived across the street from Duncan for almost a decade and says the allegations came as a surprise.

George McClellan said, " I couldn't believe it, I couldn't believe it, I couldn't believe it. It really shocked me and my wife and my family..we just couldn't believe it cause I'd see him out on the porch in the evening you know and he seemed just as friendly as everyone else."

Courtney Williams has three children and since hearing the allegations..and when Alexandra Carter asked her if she still lets them play outside, she answered, " no, no, no..and I know this is a world where you never know what's gonna never know what's out's a crazy world..but I didn't think close."

Duncan is being held in the Fannin County Jail on $60,000 bond. If convicted he faces 25 years to life in prison on each count.

He's due back in court September 26th.
