Prosecutors: Bonham woman creates over $500,000 in financial damages for nursing home

FANNIN COUNTY, Texas -- A Bonham woman has been indicted for what's being called a "multifaceted financial scheme" that took place over several years by Fannin Co. District Attorney Richard Glaser.

Jeri Flanery, 32, was indicted on 33 counts of forgery of an instrument, which is a state jail felony.

She was also indicted on one count of theft of property, which is a second degree felony in this case.

Glaser said Flanery stole more than $30,000 from a nursing home.

In regards to the counts of forgery, Flanery is believed to have caused financial damages to the company and its patients of more than $500,000.

The incidents happened between January 2011 and June 2014.
