Brother confesses to stabbing Springer man

SPRINGER, OK - The brother of a Springer man found stabbed to death in a field Saturday tells law enforcement that he's responsible for the killing.

Carter County Sheriff Ken Grace says 23-year-old Chance Jacobs wrote a letter confessing that he stabbed his brother 27-year-old Jeremy Kildow.

The Sheriff says Jacobs claims he and Kildow got into an argument over the weekend and he stabbed Kildow in self defense.

Kildow's body was found in a field across from the family's home off Chad Street in Springer.

So far no charges have been filed against Jacobs and he has not been arrested for the stabbing.
