BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- A Bryan County man accused of leading authorities on a high speed chase, killing another man appeared in court Tuesday.
27-year-old Kellis Barnett entered a not-guilty plea on a 1st degree manslaughter charge.
Barnett was arrested back in January after leading Colbert Police on a high speed chase.
Police say Barnett lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree.
Passenger Neil Johnston was ejected from the car and died at the scene.
Barnett is due back in court August 11th.
