Bryan Co. man arrested for distilling illegal liquor

BRYAN COUNTY, TX - A Bryan county man is facing charges for distilling whiskey illegally.

James Smith is facing charges on "unlawful possession of a moonshine still" a felony and "possession of untaxed liquor" a misdemeanor.

Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement says Smith was arrested Friday after an investigation with the Bryan County drug task force.

Investigators found mash along with materials to make moonshine in a building behind Smith's Cartwright home.

Smith has bonded out of the Bryan county jail.
