BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- A Bryan County woman has been charged with embezzlement accused of stealing money from her job and using it to gamble.
43-year-old Lisa Bailey was arrested Monday after investigators charged her for taking almost $4,000 as a cafeteria employee with the Choctaw Nation and spending it at the Casino in Durant.
According to an affidavit, investigators say Bailey would take money from the cafeteria sales, spend the money at the casino, and make enough to replenish what she had taken.
The affidavit states after not making enough back Bailey started making excuses as to where the money had gone.
She bailed out on a $5,000 bond.
