Bus route between Texas and Oklahoma starts Monday

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- Starting Monday, the Red River Route will be open to the public.

TAPS in Sherman and SORTS in Durant have teamed up to offer shuttle services back and forth.

The Red River Route will begin at the TAPS headquarters in Sherman. It will stop in Denison and then head to the Choctaw Casino. From there, SORTS shuttles will be on hand to take people anywhere in Durant.

It will be $1 to and from, or riders can get a month pass for $20.

Organizers say they expect the route to be a popular and helpful one.
