Calera police seeks driver in high speed chase

CALERA, OK-A high speed chase through Calera was all captured on video Monday morning.
Assistant Police Chief T.J. White said around 3:30, an officer stopped a red truck on Highway 69-75 for a missing side mirror. When the officer approached the vehicle, the driver took off at speeds of more than 100 miles per hour.
Two officers joined the chase through Calera, then back onto the highway.

"The guy was getting very dangerous in his driving and we stopped the pursuit just to make sure no one got hurt, we don't want anyone getting hurt. So we ended the pursuit when his driving got more erratic," White said.

If you have any information on this chase, contact the Calera Police Department at (580) 434-7000.
