A combination of very strong winds, falling temperatures and frozen precipitation will make Wednesday and Wednesday night dangerous for motorists. Freezing rain and sleet will change to snow before ending late Wednesday or early Thursday. Wind chills of 5 to 10 degrees...with air temperatures in the low 20s...can be expected. Roads will be icy Thursday morning but should melt during the day as skies clear and temperatures rise above freezing.
DENISON, TEXAS -- A car veered off FM 120 in Denison around 9:30 Thursday night, rolling down a hill and landing on its top in a ditch.
Denison fire officials say it was a one car accident and only the driver was injured.
He was taken to the hospital by ambulance in critical condition.
DPS troopers have not yet released the cause of the accident.
