Change of venue denied for man accused of killing Denison woman

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A Grayson County judge denied a change of venue motion from a man accused of killing a pregnant Denison woman.

Richard Allen Taylor faces charges of murder, manslaughter, criminal negligent homicide and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

District Attorney Joe Brown says the defense also filed a continuance to give the defense a chance to run their own toxicology tests on the defendant's blood.

He says if the motion is granted they'll reset a trial date after the first of the year.

Police say Taylor killed Jennifer Comstock and her unborn child after his car crashed into her home back in January.
