CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK -- The Choctaw County court clerk's office says 21-year-old Skyler Mote pleaded guilty and will spend the next four years in prison.
Investigators say she admitted to shooting her mother, 42-year-old Melissa Covington, in July with a .32-caliber revolver after an argument at their home.
Mote told police she wanted her mother dead.
Covington survived the shooting.
Mote faces an addition six years probation upon her release.
