Church and bank taking donations for Paris family after fire

PARIS, TX -- Family members are collecting donations for a Paris family who lost their home in a fire Wednesday night.

Fire Marshall Dale Maberry says a kitchen fire caused a home in the 1100 block of 15th SE St. to go up in flames.

Chandler McDonald, Darian Ryan and their one week old baby were able to escape unharmed, but lost everything they owned.

Ryan's mother says the family can use all the help they can get.

"Right now mostly clothes, we got them some basic things to get started," said Ryan's mom Fancy Boss. "The baby has diapers and formula to start, but they need pretty much everything."

Clothing and other items can be dropped of at Ryan's mothers home at 2995 Mahaffey Ln or at the Orange Chapel Church in Arthur City. Monetary donations can be made at the Lamar National Bank.

Most needed items:

Baby boy- similac advanced newborn formula, 0-3 month clothes, diapers, wipes, blankets.

Mom-wears a size medium and some large shirts right now. She's only wearing yoga-type pants at this time size small-medium. Shoe size 7 1/2.

Dad-wears a large shirt, size 32/34 x 34 pants & shoe size 11 1/2.
