Closed women's shelter burns down in Paris

PARIS, TX - An empty woman's shelter in Paris caught fire around 2:30 Monday afternoon.

The Paris Fire Department acted quickly getting the blaze under control in 30-minutes.

Fire Chief Larry Wright said no one was in the building which has been empty for several years now.

The building is a total loss.
