COLBERT, OK -- A man accused of robbing a Colbert convenience store last year has been convicted of the crime.
Court records show jurors found James Marvin Carty guilty of robbery with a weapon.
Officials say last summer a News 12 viewer identified Carty after seeing surveillance footage on our broadcast.
Colbert police say Carty walked into Frank's Corner store and threatened the clerk and cook with a gun.
Carty faces up to 10 years in prison.
His son, James Michael Carty is also accused in the robbery.
He is already serving prison time in Texas for a previous offense.
