Colbert man's body arrives on American soil

COLBERT, OK-- The body of Colbert resident and former Marine
"Michael David Copeland" has arrived in the United States almost 20 days after his death.

His father, Mike Copeland, says the plane carrying "Michael David's" body landed in Dover, Delaware, Thursday morning.

His remains were accompanied by a police escort to Dover Air Force Base.

Copeland says an autopsy will be done, Friday, by the Armed Forces Medical Examiner, who will determine what caused his son's death.

He says the company Michael David worked for, Dyna Corp, arranged for transportation.

Copeland says Michael David's body should arrive in Oklahoma by Monday.
