POTTSBORO, TX -- The daughter of an elderly Pottsboro woman beaten to death in December has been arrested for her murder.
The Grayson County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Rangers arrested 53-year-old Shelia Mae Wolfe at a home on Flowing Wells Road for the murder of her mother, 70-year-old Marlene Cannon.
Cannon had been flown to a Plano hospital in critical condition after she was found the evening of December 16, 2013, covered in blood in a home at 99 Scott Hill Road, west of Pottsboro. Cannon died two days later.
Wolfe's bond has been set at $1 million. We'll have more on this tonight on News 12.
