Denison Fire Marshal investigates two vacant home fires

DENISON, TX -- A two story home went up in flames in Denison early Sunday morning.

Denison firefighters say the blaze ignited around 5:40 a.m. at a home in the 600 block of West Day St. Crews say when they arrived the home was fully engulfed. Fire officials say no one lived at the home and no one was injured. Firefighters say the home is a total loss.

Not too far from the house crews say another vacant home caught fire on Brock St, but firefighters say minimal damage was done.

No word if the fires are connected.

The Denison Fire Marshall is investigating.
