DENISON, TX -- The Denison City Council will hold another hearing in December, before deciding whether to annex a 33 acre stretch of land.

Planning and Zoning director Faye Brockett says the land is privately owned. The owner wants the land to be included in the city limits.

Brockett says annexing it will provide water, sewer, police and fire services. If annexed, the city can also collect property taxes on the land.
