Denison firefighter injured working house fire

DENISON, TX -- A firefighter was injured during a house fire in Denison around 3 Saturday afternoon.

Authorities say a fireman was taken to a local hospital after he displaced his shoulder while working an attic fire at a home in the 2100 block of Pavillion Circle.

Crews say they're not sure what ignited the flames. Denison Firefighters say the blaze caused a good amount of smoke and water damage to the home.

No one else was injured. Co-workers say the firefighter who was hurt is doing okay.
