DENISON, TX -- A Denison man has been arrested, accused of tax fraud.

35-year-old Jeron Glen Powell admitted to defrauding at least 10 people, according to investigators.

Lieutenant Rickey Wheeler with the Grayson County Sheriff's Office says they suspect Powell may have defrauded people in Grayson, Fannin and Cooke counties.

He says Powell used his work experience with a local tax agency to work on his own this year.

Powell allegedly took more than $15,000 dollars in tax refunds.

Wheeler says if Powell has your tax information or completed your taxes you should contact your local law enforcement.
