Denison police investigate early morning robbery

DENISON, TX -- Denison Police are investigating an early morning robbery.

Police say a man allegedly pointed a gun at a clerk at the Lone Star Convenience Store early Sunday morning and demanded money.

Authorities say the victim gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money from the cash register.

Officers say the suspect then left the store in a maroon colored SUV, and was last seen on US Highway 75.

Police say this happened before 5 Sunday morning. They say the victim was not injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, wearing blue jeans and a camouflage jacket.

Witnesses also say he had on a black toboggan, and had a slight growth of a beard.
