DENISON, TX - Denison Police are looking for someone they say broke into a local business early Friday morning and stole thousands of dollars in property.
Lieutenant Mike Eppler says Friday morning a little after 7a.m., they were called to the business Overhead Door in the 600 block of Travis.
Eppler says a lock had been removed from a gate and a 20 foot flat bed trailer, loaded with metal materials, was missing.
The business owner says the stolen trailer and materials are worth an estimated 15 thousand dollars. The Denison Police department is currently investigating the crime.
"We've started checking the local recyclers already and some of them are aware of it, they do cooperate with us normally, we get a lot of good information from them." said Eppler.
If you have any information on this burglary call the Denison Police Department at 903-465-2422.
