CALERA, OK -- We're learning new details about what happened in a stand-off that happened Wednesday in Bryan County.
Sheriff Ken Golden says the Calera man just lost his job and was threatening to hurt himself.
Golden says when a Calera officer showed up to make contact the man pulled out a gun.
He says the incident turned into a stand-off between officers and the man until Golden and a few officers were able to subdue the man when he put down his gun.
He was taken into custody and is still being held for mental evaluation.
Golden says after the evaluation a judge will determine if he requires treatment.
