SHERMAN, TX -- Texomans were invited to dine-in at a Sherman theater Friday night.

The Midway Mall Movie Theater had a soft opening at 7:30.

Movie goers can grab food from restaurants inside the mall and bring it into the theater. Movie managers say they hope the unique movie experience will bring business back to the mall.

"We were hoping opening up the movie theater will help bring back life to the mall. It will increase our foot traffic here, and hopefully we can get some of those big stores back so it will be a hopping mall again," Manager Tabetha Snow said.

"It's going to be a great showing come out here and show your support and lets make this thing go," Assistant Manager Steve Usrey said.

Tickets are $4.75 for adults, $3.75 for seniors and just $3.00 for children.

"The Dark Knight Rises" will be playing all weekend.
