Domestic assault in Grayson County ends in shots fired

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- Authorities say a man is in jail after allegedly driving his truck into a man who was mowing his lawn.

This happened Saturday in the 7000 block of West Line Road near Collinsville.

Authorities say a 70-year-old man was riding his lawn mower when a man drove into the back of the lawn mower with his pick up truck.

The 70-year-old then fired four shots at the driver, but missed him. The driver is being booked into the Grayson County Jail, and is expected to be charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The Sheriff's Office says they were called out to another disturbance between these same men yesterday.
