A combination of very strong winds, falling temperatures and frozen precipitation will make Wednesday and Wednesday night dangerous for motorists. Freezing rain and sleet will change to snow before ending late Wednesday or early Thursday. Wind chills of 5 to 10 degrees...with air temperatures in the low 20s...can be expected. Roads will be icy Thursday morning but should melt during the day as skies clear and temperatures rise above freezing.
A band that's been on the music scene for 40 years comes to Texoma.
The Doobie Brothers are playing at the Winstar World Casino at 9 p.m on Friday the 10th.
They're now touring with songs from their 13th album with some oldies mixed in.
Founding member Tom Johnston said they've kept going for their love of music.
"We get paid for the 22 hours to get to the show, it takes to get to the show and everything that's involved with that," said Johnston. "And then we play for nothing. Because we love to play."
Tickets for the show start at 30 dollars.
