BONHAM, TX -- The driver who led law enforcement on a chase from Fannin to Grayson County, this spring, has been indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
If convicted 34-year-old Clinton Espy faces up to 99 years in prison.
Back in April, Bonham police and DPS pursued Espy from Highway 121 in Bonham to Highway 82 heading west toward Sherman.
Investigators say Espy was pulled over near Bethany road and as officers tried to arrest him, he fought back and had to be tased.
Grayson County Deputy, Chad Key, was directing traffic at the scene of that incident when he was struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver.
