DURANT, OK -- Seven children were killed in the twister that tore through Moore, Oklahoma. One Durant girl is raising money to give back to one of the victim's families.
9-year-old Baylee Hogue set up a lemonade stand in her grandma's driveway Saturday, raising money for 9-year-old Sydney Angle. Angle was a student at Plaza Towers Elementary, a school that was leveled by the EF-5 tornado.
Hogue's family knows the Angle's through softball, and the lemonade stand was all Hogue's idea.
"I'm going to give it to her family because her family lost all of their stuff in the tornado in Moore," she said. "Because I like lemonade, and I figure everyone else would like lemonade on a hot day."
They plan to mail the donation to the Angle family on Tuesday.
