PARIS, TX -- A Durant woman is behind bars after allegedly assaulting two Paris officers over the weekend.

Around 5 p.m. Saturday, police say 31-year old Sarah Watts was driving erratically and almost hit an off-duty officer. As the officer tried to detain her in the 3900-block of Bonham Street, he said she punched him. Responding officers located and arrested Watts charging her with assault on a public servant and evading arrest.
