ECU Campus speaks out about tragic loss

ADA, OK -- The East Central University has also been hit hard by Sanchez's murder.

Jerry Forbes, Vice President for Student Development, says despite this tragedy, the university is still safe. And every precaution was taken that could have been.

"This is one of those tragedies that you plan for, but you hope that you never have to enact the plan," said Forbes.

Plans for a memorial are in the works with a date to be determined.
