Early voting ends in TX, begins in OK

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- Early voting wraps up today in Texas, while the early voting period in Oklahoma has just begun.

Friday marks the end of the two-week early voting period across Texas. Polls close at 7 p.m. Friday and will reopen on at 7 a.m. on Election Day, which is Tuesday, November 6.

Grayson County has already seen about 9,600 voters show up and cast their ballot for the November elections.

Counties across the nation are seeing a record turnout for early voting. Grayson County residents agree it's important.

"Privilege, and honor and a privilege to vote. Everybody needs to vote, they need to vote," said Grayson County early voter, Kenneth Church.

Oklahomans can vote early Friday, Saturday, and Monday (details below).

ALL OKLAHOMA COUNTIES
Friday, November 2, 8 AM - 6 PM
Saturday, November 3, 8 AM - 1 PM
Monday, November 5, 8 AM - 6 PM

Vote early at the County Election Board office in the county where you are registered to vote.

You must show proof of identification to vote.
