BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- An elderly woman was killed in a car accident Thursday afternoon in Bryan County.
Durant Police Detective Drew Hale says the woman was travelling on Highway 69/75 in the left hand lane, when she stopped at a red light at the intersection of Choctaw Road.
She suffered an unknown medical condition and rolled through the intersection.
Hale says a semi travelling northbound clipped the front of her vehicle, sending her car across both lanes into a field.
She was taken to the hospital but died from the accident.
Her name is not being released until next of kin is notified.
