CHOCTAW CO., OK -- An early morning fire in Choctaw County claims the life of an elderly woman.

Boswell fire officials say they received a call just before 9 a.m. from a person saying a neighbor's car was on fire.

As Boswell firefighters arrived at the home on North 4000 Road they found the home fully engulfed in flames.

Officials say they were unaware anyone was in the home until after the blaze was extinguished two hours later.

Boswell Volunteer Fire Chief Paul Green said, "We didn't know anything about it until we pulled on scene and started our defensive mode on attacking the fire."

Officials say the woman, who's name is not being released at this time, was 81-years old.

The Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze.
