COLEMAN, TX -- A former Denison High School teacher was arrested Wednesday afternoon accused of having an improper relationship with a student.
Denison Police tell us 34-year-old Julie Ann-Priddy Bollinger turned herself into authorities in Coleman County Texas where she was booked and released after posting bail.
She immediately resigned when Denison ISD administrators confronted her about the relationship in May...but denied any wrongdoing until a video of Bollinger and the student surfaced.
She then came clean and admitted to police she'd been having a sexual relationship with the 17-year-old.
Improper relationship between an educator and a student is a second degree felony in Texas, punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
We'll have more on this tonight on News 12.
