FBI needs public assistance identifying bombing suspects

BOSTON, MA-The FBI is asking the public for help in finding two men wanted in connection with Monday's bombings at the Boston Marathon.

They are known as "suspect #1," seen wearing a black baseball cap, and "suspect #2" wearing a white one, turned backwards. The two men are seen carrying backpacks through the crowd at the Boston Marathon, just minutes before the bombs went off. They say suspect two set down a backpack at the second bombing site.

The FBI hopes someone will recognize them.

"Thought it may be difficult, the nation is counting on those with information to come forward and provide it to us," said FBI Special Agent, Richard DesLauriers.
