Fannin Co. searches for suspect involved in pursuit

BAILEY, TX-Fannin county law enforcement are still searching for a man who led them on a chase Wednesday afternoon.

Sheriff Donnie Foster said it began around 1:45 when deputies went to a Bailey home to serve a burglary warrant. The suspect fled in his car, along with another man. Foster said they pursued the suspects through the Bailey and Leonard areas until the pair abandoned their car and took off on foot.

Chief Deputy James Woods said one of them is now in custody but they are still looking for the other man.

No names have been released.
