Plano man killed in Fannin Co. accident

RANDOLPH, TX-An accident in Fannin county killed a Plano man Thursday morning.

Charles Cook was killed when he crashed head-on with a truck on Highway 121 near Randolph.

DPS troopers said it happened around 8:30 a.m. when Cook crossed into oncoming traffic and hit the truck, driven by Claude Lewis of Ravenna. Trooper Mark Tackett said Cook was rushed to Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham where he was pronounced dead. Lewis was transported to Baylor Medical Center in McKinney and last listed in stable condition.

Tackett said Cook was not wearing a seat belt.

The accident is still under investigation.
