POTTSBORO, TX -- A fire destroyed a Locust family's home Saturday.
This home on Flowing Wells Road caught fire around 4:00 p.m. Firefighters say when they arrived the home was fully engulfed in flames.
Pottsboro Fire Lieutenant, Steven Davis, says three people lived in the home, but no one was home when the fire broke out. Four fire departments worked for more than an hour to get the fire under control. Lt. Davis says because the home was out in the county, getting water to the home was difficult.
The home is a total loss. Red Cross is assisting the family.
