SHERMAN, TX - An electrical fire that caused part of MEMC in Sherman to be evacuated this evening is now out, according to Sherman firefighters.
Officials tell us just after 5 p.m. workers noticed smoke in an office between the second and third floors. Because of the size of the building and potentially flammable materials inside, they quickly evacuated the large office building on U.S. Highway 75 south of Sherman.
The fire was extinguished around 6:30, and no injuries have been reported.
