BONHAM, TEXAS -- Many of you have probably already set your clocks forward an hour today for daylight savings, but a local fire department is also encouraging Texomans to change the batteries in their smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
Bonham Fire Department says this is the best defense families have against devastating house fires.
Bonham residents can call their fire department at (903) 583-3731 to have them install a smoke detector in their home at no charge.
