LAMAR COUNTY, TX-- With flu season heating up in Texas, the Texas Department of State Health Services reminds people who haven't gotten a flu shot not to put it off any longer.

Lamar County recently moved up to the yellow level, meaning there is Flu A activity in the county. An official with the Paris Lamar County Health department says 90% of people with Flu A are testing positive for H1N1.

A Local pharmacist says little things like washing your hands regularly will also prevent you from getting the flu.
