Ford and Sherman ISD work raise money for school clubs and organizations

SHERMAN, TX -- If you feel like test driving a new vehicle and want to donate money to Sherman ISD you can do it all Saturday and it won't cost you a penny.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ford motors will donate $20 dollars to Sherman High School for every person 18 and older who test drives a vehicle.

The Utter Ford family is helping with the fundraiser, they'll have all kinds of ford vehicles at the Sherman High School parking lot.

The money will go to help fund Sherman High School clubs and organizations.

Culinary arts teacher Symantha Murry said, "There's no sales pitch, they don't even call you or contact you afterwards and it's like donating $20 to the school. It doesn't even cost you anything."

There will be other activities too; a bounce house, concessions, a blood drive and city of Sherman's adopt a pet will also be there.
