Former Bryan Co. jailer sentenced to federal prison

BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- A former Bryan County jailer, who pleaded guilty to assaulting an inmate with a taser, has been sentenced.

The Justice Department says 48-year-old Kevin Holt will serve 18 months in federal prison for using the taser on an inmate who was sitting in a restraint chair.

Earlier this year the Bryan County Sheriff's Office turned the investigation over to the FBI.

Holt will serve two years of supervised probation after his release.
