GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A state judge granted probation to a former Grayson County Sheriff's deputy sentenced to four years in state prison.
Errin Luton served five months in state prison for stealing guns from the evidence room.
Under the probation terms, Luton has to wear a leg monitor and must go to gamblers anonymous, according to Judge Rayburn Nall. The probation lasts eight years.
Luton filed a motion for "shock probation."
He pleaded guilty back in September to stealing more than $20,000 worth of items - including guns - from evidence.
