Former client says Garvin Co. lawyer solicited her & teen daughters

GARVIN COUNTY, OK - 33-year-old Jeremy Oliver was charged Tuesday with soliciting sexual conduct with a minor and distributing obscene material. He was released from jail on a $25,000 bond. Now, the former client who accused Oliver said she is putting aside her fears and speaking out against the attorney in hopes other victims will do the same.

The 36-year-old mother, we have identified as Anne, said she hired Oliver last October.

"When I was in jail, there was another client of his in there," Anne said. "He told her he was going to bail her out for a $150 flat screen TV."

However, Oliver allegedly asked for a lot more than a flat screen TV from Anne.

"I walk up to him, he grabs my breast, starts feeling on it," Anne said. "My husband is maybe one hundred yards away. I couldn't tell him. The first thing in thirteen years, I couldn't tell him. I tell him everything."

In January, Anne said Oliver began sending sexually explicit text messages, offering to knock $1,000 off her legal fees in exchange for nude pictures of her then 13 and 17-year-old daughters. Anne said that is when she went to law enforcement.

Garvin County Sheriff Larry Rhodes said deputies arrested Oliver Monday.

"A search warrant was served at his house, which also couples as his office," Rhodes said. "We discovered a firearm, marijuana, as well as some material that related to child pornography."

Anne said it is hard to sleep at night knowing there may be other victims and she hopes they find courage in her words.

Sheriff Rhodes asks anyone with information regarding this case to contact his office at (405) 238-7591.
